"You can’t bring those blocks into China”

Our translator turned to us and said as we were trying to cross the border from Nepal to China in 2024

Turns out, unauthorised wood is not allowed in and we had been using a stack of wooden blocks for about a year driving round the world…but not for any longer

After that, we slept for over a year on uneven ground, swapping which way round we slept to try and avoid blood running to our heads

Ordered a 360 camera… and now the real adventure begins: waiting for the delivery driver. 😂📦

In the UK, you usually get a delivery window and sometimes even see how many stops are left. In France? It feels more like: “It’ll arrive when it arrives.” 🇫🇷🤣

So today’s plan is simple — stay close, keep checking, and hope the doorbell rings soon.

Anyone else had this kind of parcel tracking experience in France? 😂

Would you live and travel in a truck like this? 🚛🌍

This massive expedition truck may not win any awards for fuel economy, but that’s not really the point. The idea is to drive to an incredible location, park up, make it your base, and explore the surrounding area by bike, on foot, or through outdoor adventures.

It’s more than just a truck — it’s a home, a basecamp, and a completely different way of seeing the world. 🏕️

The real question is… could you live this lifestyle? 👀
