Hi I’m Emy.
I am the one who laughs at her own jokes and the woman who snaps into laser focus the second she’s needed. I can be chaotic one minute and precision queen the next. I keep life fun because it keeps me sane… my creativity goes wild and my work instantly gets better when I’m eating oysters and laughing at the most random unhinged things 😝

I have been teaching since 2017 which basically means I have survived years of stylists, models, questions, chaos and breakthroughs and I still love every minute. Now co-founder of Elevate Mesh Integration, we are bringing new and exciting teaching experiences to the hair replacement world! I have had my London salon for a full decade now and it is a pure hair loss haven where we turn panic into plans and tears into smiles on the daily.

My favourite things to create are the wild, unusual shaped hairpieces for skin grafts. Give me a challenge and I am already rolling up my sleeves.

I have 20 years in the hair replacement and wig world and nearly 15 years with mesh integration. Yep.. showing my age there 😂 but experience looks good on me.

Sandrine walked into the salon today for her new custom piece and left feeling like herself again. About a year and a half ago she was diagnosed with a melanoma on the back of her head. Her GP caught it quickly and she had the lump removed along with a skin graft. The scar tissue meant no new hair could ever grow in that area and that alone changed how she felt every time she looked in the mirror.

I took a full mould of her loss pattern and created a perfectly round hand knotted piece designed only for her. It clips on and off each day with complete comfort. We fitted her first piece last year and today she came for her new one. These pieces usually last around a year and each one is made with the same care and precision because it is more than hair. It is confidence. It is identity. It is freedom.

In her video she speaks about feeling like a new woman again. That moment is exactly why I love what I do. Watching someone step back into their power with something that looks and feels natural is the greatest part of this job. Meshless is not a trend for us. It is a technique we shaped, refined and perfected long before the industry caught on. We created this grid in 2017 and we were the first to design it in the way you see today. Every square, every section and every pattern was built through real experience with real clients and years of problem solving.

Every head has its own landscape and the mesh has to follow that landscape without forcing it. This is why darts, folds and pleats cannot stay in your foundation. They change the natural flow of the mesh and create tight points that never sit flat. When you leave them in you create a base that is already fighting the shape of the head before you even begin to integrate any hair.

Those folds might look tiny but they stack the mesh on top of itself. Suddenly you are trying to pull hair through three layers rather than one. That extra bulk tightens the tension, reduces airflow, traps moisture and makes the whole system harder to maintain. It also weakens the stability of your foundation because the mesh shifts each time you pull through it.

When you cut the darts out cleanly the mesh opens, relaxes and follows the head in a smooth curve. You get a base that lies flat, a foundation that behaves, and a system that blends without effort. This one technical step protects the client’s natural hair, improves comfort and raises the quality of your entire installation.

If you do not remove darts you are working against the structure. When you do remove them you are working with it. That is the difference between placing mesh and mastering mesh.
