On the evening of October 21st 2023, I will be taking part in the 10K Starlight Hike in aid of Sue Ryder as part of the Radio Winchcombe team.

We have been alerted that there have been possible attempts to scam residents in relation to the £150 that is being rolled out.

Please be aware that criminals are cold calling residents asking for bank details in order for them to receive the Government’s £150 energy rebate.

Anyone who unexpectedly receives a text, email or phone call seeking information or payment should refrain from giving out personal information, including bank details, clicking any links or responding until they can be sure it is genuine.

We have been alerted that some residents are receiving scam phone calls and emails relating to the council tax energy rebate scheme.
Please be alert - We will never call you to request your bank account details ❗️
The genuine council tax rebate payment will be available to eligible households from later this month 👍
