Guys. Just to let you all know that bearing in mind what happened in Wi******er last week I have informed my bosses at Sky News radio of my intention to leave with immediate effect. Two seizures in one afternoon, a day in a and e and being left with lesions and a possible brain tumour after being admitted to RHCH, a long row of pills sitting here in front of me… it’s all a bit too much. Hopefully the Wi******er stuff can continue, but the live national stuff from London is all a bit too much to cope with. Gutted. But it’s been a blast! That’s the latest!

Urgent news update from Kevin, managing editor of Wi******er Today. Okay… you might as well all know that after an emergency rush to RHCH hospital here in Wi******er on Tuesday, an initial diagnosis is primary brain tumour. I’m still able to communicate – as you can see – but there’s a huge floating area in my right eye which has led to an immediate ban from driving. That and effectively becoming officially disabled really sucks. I am going to try to keep Wi******er Today going online with the weekly newspaper for as long as I am able and subject to confirmation from the doctors in Southampton. Meanwhile, please continue to feed us! [email protected]. Thanks to all the volunteers here at Wi******er Today who continue to keep us going. Finally, enormous thanks to my neighbours who were in the right place at the right time as I was having my two seizures, the paramedics at South Central Ambulance Service and of course the wonderful doctors and nurses at RHCH. Exemplary, all of you.
