It is the symbol of companionship and hospitality in Turkey, my home country.

Last week noted the 50th anniversary of National Tree Week, marking the opening of the tree planting season. 🌳

10 million trees were planted in the UK, last year alone. Good news while trying to cope with climate anxiety! 🥳

Why not join a local tree planting event? It will make you feel so good! 🌱

Thursday was Social Enterprise Day. What does a social enterprise do? Just like a company, it solves problems with products and services, while creating jobs. But it also builds communities, prioritises social good and our planet.

Just like Party Kit Network CIC, hiring reusable tableware for sustainable parties. Founded by Isabel Mack, it avoided over a million (almost 8 tonnes of!) single-use items in 5 years. I am proud of volunteering as a Board Director for this impactful community interest company (CIC), overseeing its marketing and content strategy.

I trained over 400 people with my Grow Your Brand With LinkedIn webinars, and helped 24 organisations with marketing, since I started my business last November. 🤓

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.", Aesop said. So true! Thursday was Happy Kindness Day. It's a great reminder that all humans need and deserve compassion, encouragement, kindness, and empathy.

World Kindness Day has been organised by The World Kindness Movement (WKM) since 1998. As mentioned in their latest LinkedIn post, "Let’s continue to build bridges, uplift one another, and lead with courage and empathy. Together, we can inspire a global movement where kindness is not just celebrated one day a year, but lived every single day."
