What a busy and productive month it was! I gained a new client. I reviewed books for The Green Parent Magazine. I was interviewed by London Evening Standard about my move to Wi******er from London. 🍁

I also completed 15 hours of volunteering this month. Working towards the causes I support, meeting and talking to new people, learning from others make me feel so good!

💬 I mentored 5 business owners through Digital Boost.

✍ I wrote a press release and distributed posters for Wi******er Green Week. It was published as a news story by Hampshire Chronicle. Link to read in the comments.

🥳 I ran a stand for Party Kit Network during Wi******er Green Fair.

📸 I took photos and videos during the ACTionism film screening and Greener Schools Forum, organised in Wi******er by Isabel Mack, founder of Party Kit Network.

💭 I attended the Wi******er meeting for Parents For Future Hampshire.

September was packed with networking events, after a quiet August! 🤝

I started my marathon with the Wi******er Cultural Networking Group event, organised by Emalene Hickman. I enjoyed listening to the story of The Colour Factory, narrated engagingly by resident artists Jenny Muncaster, Rachael Alexander Artist, and The_Metalsmith. To hear how they went through difficulties, and how far they came was a resilience lesson indeed! 🤓

I attended the last meeting of Wi******er Creative Industries Peer Group, led by the great Rebecca Phillips and Jo Stark. I felt comforted to catch up with them and the lovely creatives in this group. 💬

I went to my first Tea and Toast event, organised by Jan Carlyle. This group is intended for creatives, digital and tech professionals based in Wi******er. I met interesting people doing cool things and brainstormed ideas with them. 💭

I wrapped up my September networking with The Marketing Meetup Wi******er, organised by the fun and friendly, Collette and Vicki. It was amazing to chat with marketers and creatives I connected with before, and hear their inspiring stories. 👋

Thank you so much Rebecca, Jo, Emalene, Collette, Vicki, and Jan! You create invaluable opportunities for all of us to foster new connections, learn and be inspired from each other. 🙏 👏

So reassuring to see that we are all in the same boat as founders!

UN Secretary-General António Guterres said recently that guns must be silenced and suffering should end in Gaza. Yes, it definitely should. But when will the suffering really end?

Happy Autumn Equinox to all! From tomorrow on, we'll have shorter days and longer nights. Are you ready? 🌛

🥾 walk, forest bath, and crush the leaves (hopefully every Sunday!)

Lovely people of Wi******er!

I'll run a stand this Saturday for Party Kit Network at Wi******er Cathedral's Pavilion, to mark the first ever Wi******er Green Fair by Wi******er Green Week! Perfect occasion to kick start our Green Week and see what our city is doing for sustainability. 🌱

Come and say hello, I'll be delighted to see you and meet you in person! I'll distribute children's colouring sheets to take home too. 😊

I'll be based inside the Pavilion, next to the cafe area, between 11am-1pm.

Free event, open to all on Saturday until 4pm. There will also be other stands inside and outside at the Pavilion. Event link in comments👇

This Saturday is start of Wi******er Green Week and it kicks off with the Wi******er Green Fair! 💚

We will there with our reusable party kit. Please pop along and say hi to Filiz and Vibeke who will be hosting our stand while I’m away speaking atThe Plastic Free Gathering UK.

The Green Fair is being held on Sat 20th September in the Pavilion beside Wi******er Cathedral Café, from 11am - 4pm.

There will be loads of things for the kids to do and organisations from across Wi******er working towards a greener future.
