🚁 summer stock shoot with Malverleys Farm & Dining

A fantastic day on the Hampshire/Berkshire border today creating fresh photo and video content for Malverleys, capturing their restaurant, deli and farm kitchen looking its best as the summer season gets underway.

At RCM, we create purposeful film content that helps people understand, experience and connect with place. Today’s shoot was a great example of that in action, combining drone cinematography and photography to showcase not just what Malverleys offers, but the atmosphere, landscape and character that make it a destination in its own right.

We captured a mixture of landscape and vertical assets for use across social media, web and future marketing campaigns, carefully composing shots with flexibility in mind, including space for graphics, messaging and promotional use.

One of the highlights of the day came when the site’s beekeepers arrived to carry out hive inspections in full protective suits. As producers of their own honey, it was a brilliant opportunity to capture authentic behind-the-scenes content and tell another layer of the Malverleys story. The fact we got to take some honey home was an added bonus.

Whether we’re working with destinations, hospitality venues, visitor attractions or place-based organisations, our focus is always on creating content that builds a stronger connection between people and place.

🟩 The World Cup has arrived in Hampshire 🏏

We’re proud to be supporting Hatch Agency and the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in promoting the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, with Hampshire hosting six matches this June at the Utilita Bowl.

Last week saw us capture professional photography of the official tournament trophy across some of Southampton’s most iconic locations, combining photography, content creation, local knowledge and production support to help bring the campaign to life.

Alongside the photography, we’re also producing social content featuring the trophy on a tour of the local area through Our Hampshire & Beyond, helping showcase both the tournament and the region to an engaged South Coast audience of more than 200,000 people.

Projects like this demonstrate the value of combining strong visual storytelling with local expertise, whether that’s content creation, photography, production logistics or helping brands connect authentically with a place and its communities.

The action gets underway this Saturday with West Indies v New Zealand, followed by England’s first Hampshire fixture on Tuesday. If you’re local, it’s a fantastic opportunity to experience world-class international cricket right here on our doorstep.

That's a wrap at BBC Gardeners' World Spring Fair 2026 🎬🌼

We've had a RCM film crew covering all the video content at Beaulieu this weekend for the large scale Event, always a pleasure partnering with Immediate Live to capture!

Show gardens, experts such as Adam Frost and Sue Kent, De-Graft Mensah, Ashley Edwards, the amazing shopping, talks, entertainment, food and experiences.

The feel good show has grown year on year and so has our brief and range of edits, so its great to always be thinking of new ideas to showcase the event, particularly for socials.

🎤This year, one of those was a new voxpop style with visitors approaching a mic stand near the exit with a fixed camera at a distance to answer a single question... Best buy at the show?

Some great responses and engagement, visual with all the variety of items and really highlighted the fun atmosphere of the show with different audiences and personalities.

Filming live outdoor events is always full-on and being reactive to changing schedules and on the spot opportunities keeps our crews on their toes but we love these shows!

Well done to all involved on another successful spring fair!

🎥 Capturing a range of content over the next few weeks and making the most of those blue skies to highlight everything from the scale of the facilities and teaching spaces to the student union teams and societies and elite sports programmes.

✅The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is coming to Hampshire! 🏏🏏

This summer Southampton will see six matches across four days at the Hampshire bowl as it will be referred to during the tournament..

Fixtures include…

✔️Saturday 13 June - first match at Hampshire Bowl: West Indies v New Zealand.
✔️Tuesday 16 June - featuring New Zealand v Sri Lanka & England v Ireland

Yesterday RCM was commissioned by Hatch Agency the PR agency promoting the Women’s T20 World Cup in Hampshire to capture press photography to mark the 50 day countdown until the cup begins.

Schools cricket day saw 1,350 schools taking part in a nationwide celebration of the power of play and an opportunity to inspire the next generation of cricket stars.

☀️On location at a sunny Halterworth Primary School in Romsey Robin captured the authentic joy of students enjoying a cricket session with Captain of Hampshire, Georgia Adams and Naomi Dattani.

Spring in the step at RCM 🌷🎥

✨We hope everyone had a great spring break, our team are refreshed and ready to roll on some exciting projects coming up!

🔜Coming up this week team are prepping for shoots in Birmingham with Lavazza, a product/tech shoot in Portsmouth, working students at university, an internal staff event in Chichester and a hotel shoot on the Isle of Wight.

💻But although much of our behind the scenes content includes out and about in interesting places on shoots, the majority of the important work is actually done in our Hampshire base between Wi******er and Southampton.

📤 Day to day around the studio includes...

✔️Post production work on video edits, photo retouching, sound design, color grading etc
✔️ client calls - both current projects & prospective initial calls
✔️ team catch up & creative ideation sessions
✔️Prepping kit for upcoming shoots - charging batteries, formatting cards, cleaning sensors and lenses, packing the most suitable kit for the different shoots
✔️Backing up footage & content onto both physical drives and cloud

We love this time of year as marketers are raring to make the most of the good weather coming in and before the summer holidays kick in!

Big week on the road with RCM x Lavazza Professional UK 🎬☕
