This week is Trustees Week! According to data provided by Gov.uk, there are nearly one million trustees in charities across England and Wales. Meet our four here at Wi******er Radio: Paul Blitz, Nigel Dallard, Ian Kemp and Anna O'Brien, who between them have dedicated a whopping 127 years of their time and energy, volunteering at charity Wi******er Radio!

The trustees are volunteers who take on legal responsibilities to manage the charity's affairs, and are collectively responsible for the good governance of Wi******er Radio, and following the charitable objectives and governing document to ensure Wi******er Radio best meets the needs of the people it has set out to help. Additionally the trustee board works together to steer the strategic direction of the charity, and ensure it remains sustainable.

So a big thank you to Wi******er Radio's trustees, for all they do throughout each and every year.

Just 7 weeks to go until Christmas! 🎄 The season of goodwill and giving. ❤️
If you love what we do at charity Wi******er Radio, we'd really appreciate it if you can include us on your Christmas List! A range of ways to help us is outlined here: https://winchester.radio/donate/

Our volunteer team works incredibly hard every single day of the year to keep people connected to their community, bring comfort, and help reduce loneliness and isolation. We share good-news stories from across the Wi******er area, often raising awareness of grassroots causes that would not get featured or given airtime on bigger radio stations. Much work happens behind the scenes too, fundraising to keep us on air. If you love truly local radio, please do consider supporting us financially.
Thank you. 📻🙏❤️
