For the first time in nearly 4 weeks, I'm finally sitting down to post.
Many of you will have noticed I've been quieter than usual, and truthfully, life has felt very different recently.
A few weeks ago, we lost a very close friend unexpectedly. Since then, I've taken some time away from social media and, where possible, stepped back a little to focus on the people around me, process everything that has happened, and simply be present.
As someone who has struggled with anxiety and mental health for many years, this has hit me harder than I can put into words. It's been a heartbreaking reminder of just how precious and fragile life can be.
One thing this experience has taught me is that we never truly know what someone else is carrying. It has reminded me to check in on people more often, to make the phone call, send the message, have the conversation, and tell people that they matter. It has reminded me that family, friends, time and memories are worth more than anything else.
Most of all, it has reminded me to stop waiting for the "right time" and to make the most of every day we're given.
To every customer who has waited patiently, every person who has sent a kind message, and everyone who has continued to support my little business during this time - thank you. More than you know.
Normality will slowly be resuming over the next couple of weeks, and I am working my way through messages and enquiries. If you're waiting to hear from me, I promise I haven't forgotten you. All outstanding messages will be replied to by the weekend at the very latest.
Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your understanding.
Life is short. Tell people you love them. Check in on your friends. Take the photos. Make the memories. Don't save everything for someday.
And if this last month has taught me anything, it's to live each day as fully as possible. š¤
