Today our film 'The Boy Who Started and Survived The Syrian War' airs on Al Jazeera English

The film explores the unimaginable hardships of the Syrian conflict, revealing the toll of war on those caught in the crossfire of senseless violence. Featuring the boy whose mischievous prank against the Assad regime led unintentionally to civil war, we follow his personal story of torture and imprisonment as he lays down his school satchel to pick up a Kalashnikov.

Despite years spent in constant danger on the frontlines, he somehow survived a war which claimed over half a million lives. As he explains, all he ever wanted was "to live in a free country - a Syria for all Syrians'.

Today the European Court of Human Rights concluded that Cypriot authorities mishandled their investigation into the 2019 case of a British woman accused of lying about a gang r**e attack. Clover Films exclusively followed the victim and her family during the trial, and are now so pleased to see that finally her case has been recognised for the miscarriage of justice she faced! Congrats to and Michael P***k.

Not long ago, our most recent documentary for ITV exposure, Stalking: State of Fear aired, earning pick of the day across most newspapers. The broadcast brought to close 2 years of a rewarding project driven by our amazing and dedicated team.

This documentary followed the stories of women across the UK fighting to get by everyday whilst living in fear. During the course of filming the crew learnt of the shocking failures across the whole criminal justice system. For one of our stories, it was too late. 23 year old Gracie Spinks was murdered by her stalker in 2021. Since then the Spinks family have done everything they can to raise awareness of stalking, and make changes to the police, who admitted to failings in her case.

We want to thank all of our contributors for sharing their stories with us, and celebrate the awareness we have made. We hope the documentary will continue to have an impact and make a change.
