First Dartmoor walk of the season hunting down two of the annoying edge squares. 4 miles approx around and ❤️. Weather was kind and I've only got another 1 km to go before we complete another Conqueror medal challenge :) with Jeannette Baker

Good afternoon guys I hope you are all well? :D. Apologies for limited posts we have been incredibly busy with our entertainment business so mine and mum's Dartmoor adventures have been limited of late. However once September rolls round we can start again. So keep an eye out for new content coming soon from myself and mum ❤️

A slight change of scenery from Dartmoor last week as we managed to find some last minute time off in our busy work schedule to celebrate my partner Clares birthday and our 20th anniversary year in Dubrovnik Croatia ❤️ quite a difference compared to the moor but nice nevertheless ❤️🤎 What is your favourite holiday destination?

Reaching laughter Tor ❤️❤️. A great place to stop for a cup of tea for me and Mum was the animal pen South of Laughter Tor :). This pens old granite walls provided a shield against the elements on the Moor and made a very nice place to stop on our adventures ❤️❤️. This pen was originally built for sheep. The farmers would fill the pen with sheep and would know exactly how many sheep there were without having to count them :)

Unflattering angles 🤣🤣. The Insta 360 camera we use for all of our content is fantastic ❤️. It allows you to alter the angle in 360 degrees during editing so that you don't miss that important shot. However looking at the opposite angle isn't always the most glamorous 🤣. In this shot I was trying to take a photo of some toadstools with the sunset in the back ground 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love this photo of me and Mum ❤️❤️. Taken at the old clapper bridge in Postridge on our return journey from exploring Bellever forest ❤️. The clapper bridge was heaving with visitors in the morning but by the time we got back from our walk at 6pm there wasn't a soul to be seen :). Lovely ❤️. A few facts about the clapper bridge whilst thr exactly construction date is unknown the first record of its existence was in 1380 and it is thought to be older than that ❤️. The word clapper is thoughtto come from the anglo-saxon word " Cleaca meaning stepping stones or bridging the stepping stones ❤️

A slightly different angle this time :D A dramatic view from above of the waterfall along the East Okement river near Okehampton on Dartmoor. The day of our visit it had rained a few days before so the power of the water was amazing ❤️❤️

Navigating life's challenges can be demanding, yet the support of friends is invaluable. The ascent to the picturesque waterfalls on Dartmoor during my hike with my mother presented a significant challenge, but the panoramic vistas from the summit were truly rewarding. What is your preferred hiking trail within the Moor?
