We’ve had the honour of shooting the legendary Björk in the Portuguese city of Lisbon - providing our Cinematic HDR OB Sky with Sony Venice camera channels for the visionary “Utopia” concert experience - a stunning fusion of live performance, immersive technology, and storytelling. The concert film was produced by Snowstorm Productions.

Whether in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, India, USA, Cambodia, Israel, Sudan, South Africa, South Korea, China or beyond - from remote production to flypacks or working with trusted local OB partners - we deliver excellence, anywhereintheworld.

Vivid have built a strong presence in the north over the years, with broadcasts in Manchester and Scotland now a regular part of our schedule. Whether it’s live music, Women’s Super League, or top-tier factual, we bring the same technical know-how and creative energy—wherever the job takes us.

A big part of what makes this possible? Our strong local crew network. With trusted teams across the UK, we bring flexibility, consistency, and deep regional knowledge to every production. Our work with Amazon Music’s City Sessions and Mumford & Sons earlier in the year was an incredible mix of Vivid staff and local crews… a great night with live 8-camera coverage from Manchester’s Aviva Studios. Huge thanks to Amazon Music for having us back for another unforgettable show.

And the exciting bit—we’re opening a northern office to better support our work across the region. Watch this space!

As excitement builds with the Lionesses through to the Euro 2025 semi-finals, we’re looking back on time spent at the England base camp across the 2022 tournament, delivering 30 live social-first shows on the FA’s YouTube, Facebook, X and TikTok channels.

That series concluded with England’s historic win against Germany at Wembley... Here’s hoping for another Euros victory for the Lionesses this week!

It's been a hot and dusty Glastonbury and we’ve loved playing our part in the BBC coverage providing facilities for Woodsies and The Park stages.

There is always something inspiring about being part of the largest greenfield festival in the world, and seeing the massive volunteer army come together across the site. People who embody community, passion and fun whilst doing their jobs - whether litter picking, stewarding, security, marshalling or catering.

The artists on stage may make the headlines, but this shout out goes to the Glastonbury production teams up and down the country. Whether our OB compound neighbours this year from BBC Radio Scotland, fellow facilities providers like Cloudbass, Timeline, 4Wall Europe and Creative Technology, the BBC production teams of producers, EMs, coordinators and runners from all over the UK, or the armies of back-of-house staff working tireless to coordinate the operations and logistics around such a mammoth event - it’s these guys who make this pillar of British music culture possible!

Celebrating a year of Dan Shirley!

🎉 Today marks one year since Dan Shirley joined us at Vivid Broadcast on placement from the University of Surrey, and what a year it’s been!

As part of his Film Production and Broadcast Engineering degree, Dan joined Vivid to gain hands-on industry experience — and he’s made the most of every opportunity.

From rigging PTZ cameras in his early days to working across live sport, music, theatre, politics, red carpets, and more, Dan has grown in confidence and technical ability, especially in remote production operation — a focus he now hopes to pursue further.

Coming into the industry, Dan expected a uniform environment, but was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of age, background and experience in the field — something he found especially refreshing on Vivid’s varied OB projects. And while university gave him a strong technical foundation, Dan says “actually going on site and executing tasks in the real world is a whole other experience.”

Highlights of his year? Glastonbury (twice!), the Women’s Super League, and the joy of working with a mix of familiar and new faces at each location. His top advice for anyone hoping to break into broadcast? “Be friendly and keen — it goes a long way on-site.”

As Dan heads off to Glastonbury for his final OB with us before returning to uni, we’re proud to have played a part in his journey — and excited to see where his passion and talent take him next.

What an amazing first week at Queens! Fantastic tennis, a great atmosphere and packed crowds.
We’re providing OB facilities for Aurora's delivery of the LTA’s live world feed coverage of both the WTA and ATP tournaments, reaching over 70 global broadcast and media partners — including coverage across BBC TV, BBC iPlayer, BBC digital channels, and the Tennis Channel.

A stunning women's final as Tatjana Maria becomes the first women’s singles champion at The Queen’s Club since 1973, with a straight-sets win over young American Amanda Anisimova.

This week we’re back with the men’s ATP tournament. Thanks to both LTA and Aurora for having us on board.

It was an immersive launch event like no other as Nike unveiled the 2025 National Team Kits ahead of the Women’s Euros and Africa Cup Of Nations at Dock X in Canada Water, London.

Vivid proudly supported Seen Studios with outside broadcast facilities and LED with screen control and presentation package.

The showcase featured a 7-camera setup, capturing the full energy of the kit reveal and a panel session that followed.
The arena—custom-built to echo the iconic street-football atmosphere of “The Cage”—hosted players from across the globe, including Lioness Lucy Bronze and Norway’s Ada Hegerberg, alongside industry insiders and cultural tastemakers. British rapper Ms Banks set the tone with a high-energy live performance at centre field, before the spotlight hit the players for the dramatic kit unveil.

Shout out to the Seen team who created such immersive event in every reveal, every beat, and every statement. Nike’s EC25 was a celebration of women’s football, its power, and its future. And Vivid are proud to support.

As the festival season gets underway we’re taking a moment to look back at one of last summer’s highlights — Wireless Festival 2024. Over three incredible days in July we provided OB facilities for Aurora Media, with cinematic coverage captured across 2 stages from London’s Finsbury Park, the whole weekend was broadcast live on Amazon Music’s Twitch and Prime Video platforms.
