🥀 Sneaky Peak of Beauty and the Beast - sound on!! 🥀

Nothing screams Christmas like a panto! Last night we went to see Beauty and the Beast and it was so fun! By the end everyone was on their feet singing and dancing!! The set was amazing!! And we all felt super festive! 🎶

📆 Beauty and the Beast is running until 4th Jan so still plenty of time to get booked in. All the details are on the Reading & Wokingham Rocks websites including how to book just head to the events tabs! 📲

💫 Maybank Shinfield Meadows 💫

🎄 We absolutely love seeing the festive lights in the run up to Christmas and this house is one of this years display. They are raising money for Share Shinfield and .

The light display is always so impressive and such fun for little ones!!📸

🕰️ The lights will be up until the New Year and are on daily from 4:30pm - 10pm. Going to see the lights is definitely becoming a festive tradition for us! For more Christmas events like this head to Wokingham Rocks! 📲

🎨 AD | Looking for a creative activity your child will love?

Arty class have now opened their bookings for the spring term. Classes run in Wokingham, Reading & Lower Earley, offering fun, structured art classes for children aged 5–17! As has been doing these classes for years and loves them! 💙

🌈 Each term, children explore a different artistic theme while trying out exciting materials such as gouache, watercolours, oil pastels, inks and more. This Spring, the focus is Colour Theory, inspired by artists like Hokusai, Frank Stella, Monet and Gauguin.

💷 Fees from £11 per class with a 10% sibling discount. If your child loves art or you want to nurture their creativity Arty Class is a brilliant way to inspire imagination and build skills in a fun, encouraging environment.

🐧 Homemade Chocolate Penguins 🐧

Ok this is by no means a polished post, the lighting was a nightmare and I wanted to be present but I couldn't not share these!! These cute chocolate penguins are by and we just had to give them a go!

You'll need:

⭐️ Lollipop Sticks
⭐️ Cadbury Mini Bars
⭐️ Smarties
⭐️ White chocolate buttons
⭐️ Eyes

Melt the bars in a dish (one at a time) with boiling water, snip the corner off, pop a blob on your grease proof paper to secure your lollipop stick. Pop a circle blob of chocolate on top and decorate. We managed to get two penguins per bar!

✨ Kingfisher Chase Christmas Lights – Light Switch on, don't miss it!✨

This is one of our favourite local Christmas events! The amazing Christmas lights at Kingfisher Chase are back, and the big switch-on is happening on the 30th Nov! 🎄💡

This wonderful community display is raising money for two charities .mohawk & , so if you’re visiting, please consider dropping a donation to support their fantastic cause. ❤️

The lights will be up throughout the festive season, giving everyone plenty of time to stop by, enjoy the display, and get into the Christmas spirit.

🚗 Parking:
The lights are best enjoyed on foot and the best place to park is at the end Swift Fields and then take the short walk up from there.

Bring the family, spread the cheer, and enjoy one of Bracknell’s loveliest festive spots! 🎅✨
