d recording, and is also a fully qualified and active teacher in Music holding both a BA (Hons) and PGCE in Music. The studio works primarily in live on location sessions and studio based recording work for bands, singers, voicework and foley. Example projects range from bands recording demos/singles/showreels/EPs, vocalists performing to karaoke style backing tracks, to full length albums/music projects. Editing, reamping, mixing and mastering services are available with final mixes either "master ready" or masters compliant with red book/DDP and digital platform standards. We are located on the outskirts of Stourbridge town centre on Collis Street (just off Brettel Lane). It can be easily reached by car or public transport and is within easy reach of the surrounding areas (Netherton, Blackheath, Rowley Regis, Brierley Hill, Pensnett, Wordsley, Kingswinford, Wall Heath, Norton, Wolleston, Halesowen, Gornal, Sedgley, Wolverhampton, Oldbury). There are also several large supermarkets and fast food restaurant chains within a minutes walk of the studio. One for guitarists primarily, but it's not bad on bass either!

A Sunn beta, complete with the ability to swap each channel independently to either a beta lead or a beta bass! It also does the two channels at once thing and features spring reverb a la beta lead (which would also work on the bass setting too).

The back features all of the fx/sends too allowing you to add effects loops to channel A, B or both.

And another one that also became a little of a favourite :-)

An Acoustic 360 bass head, complete with the electronic tuning fork! The fuzz switch can be altered from the original sputter to a more modern rounded sound. And there's also toggles to convert the head into the 260 (the electric guitar version).

Permanent resident of the studio ready and waiting for duty....The Super Fun Time SS190B! A copy of a well known 1972 amplifier that many bassists aspire to own or recreate the fuzz sound of....

I currently have some availability for work mid-July onwards! Recording, editing, mixing, mastering etc. Maybe this amps sound will be part of your upcoming work...

Looking for that DFA bass tone? Got ya covered 🤣

Been reamping some bass for a lil project I've been working on in my spare time for funs. Using a bi-amp setup here...clean Di into a EHX small clone, split to my handmade Peavey F800b and Acoustic 360 bass heads, both going into a "15 black widow cab each.

And the second album. Recorded in 2010, again remixed again by me. I always thought this was probably our finest hour, and possibly the best we’ve ever played in our lives, captured in a studio too!

Dead glad to see this finally released back out there for people to listen too.

This one’s an old band I was in! Originally recording in 2005, released 2006. I had the honour of remixing it from *almost* scratch. Original raw drum tracks, re-recorded Bass from scratch as the tracks were lost to time, existing guitars and vocals were stemmed from the original mix files.

It was a pleasure to hear these songs again after all this one! The second album is also online too, a post on that next time…..
