Went for a bit of make up today. Not to feel pretty or please others. More to hide behind, a skin toned veil of protection. It's interesting how masks are misinterpreted sometimes.

New workshop Starting next Friday at Sentry 😀

I love drumming, but if you are anything like me, I'd had my drum for MONTHS before I plucked up the courage to take it fireside, let alone play it! Everyone else seemed to know what they were doing, and I didn't have the confidence to join in. And I so wanted to 😞
So, I thought, I can't be the only one who feels like that, can I? Drumming with other people is magical; if you get it right, the rhythms flow through you in an indescribable way. I've experienced it a few times, but not nearly enough.
So as they say, If you build it, they will come and from now till I go home at the end of August, every Friday at 7pm I will be in the shop, holding my first attempt at drumming workshops. So if you are planning a trip to Sentry, bring your drum for Friday practice :)
All abilities are welcome. Let's learn together ❤️

Super happy with my new shop sign :) Made by me from scrap wood 🪵🙌😍
Shop is looking good and folk are popping in from the sign on Stokesley Road 😀
June was so busy I didn't have time to do any videos! But hopefully now I can get back into it. Miss doing those. Hope everyone is well and enjoying their summer.
