Often at this time of the year customers normally get in touch and tell me that their TV picture is breaking up into Squares (pixelating)
“ They then say the aerial looks fine and not showing any signs of damage”
What they can’t see is the water that has got into the aerial itself.

If your TV picture breaks up during rain, it’s a strong sign that your aerial (or the connections to it) may be damaged, or poorly weatherproofed. Rain can weaken the signal if water gets into damaged cables or connectors, or if the aerial isn’t positioned correctly.
