๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ is coming to an end with Wolves currently sitting in ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐.
I think personally last Friday was a reality check and we have been quite lucky with the fact that we received the penalty because the way we played realistically we deserved to lose.
After rewatching the game (clearly, I really like to put myself through pain), I think itโs very clear that defensively, with the players we currently have starting most of the time, we are going to concede in this Cรฉsar way.
Now, that is not me saying letโs not play that way because I think from the snippets we have seen that way will work if you have a competent defence who donโt fall asleep or the thing I saw a lot against Blackburn, basically stand still like youโre playing stuck in the mud, giving them a good amount of space to relax, look up, take a breath, maybe even have a cup of tea, and then take cross after cross (which, given the opportunity and time, they are going to score from).
The substitutes were another thing that really confused me, and by no means am I a manager; however, bringing on Raรบl and then, 7 minutes later, taking off the only option for a decent cross (Kieran Trippier) absolutely baffled me, especially when the player coming on was Jackson, who to me still seems lost on when to run and how to run.
Personally, I feel let down again by the club still with the early signings Nathan spoke about never really coming to fruition; obviously, we have Kieran Trippier (massive signing) and Raรบl Jimรฉnez (great signing) and Rafiki Said (canโt judge him as he is already injured); however, I think most fans would have expected quite a big refresh, yet we are sat here with a majorly bloated side consisting of players who donโt want to be here or arenโt a part of the plans and some players that are not good enough at all.
Now with just over 2 weeks of the transfer market left things ๐๐๐๐ to get moving with the players who are omitted or donโt want to be here need to be moved on and players who can help and want to actually be here need to come in for me personally we need at least 3-4 fresh faces.
