My face has been red for as long as I can remember. Even when I was a little girl, I always had rosy/red cheeks, so I grew up thinking that was just how my skin was 🥺

I also always promised my mom that I’d age gracefully and never start messing about with my face ❤️ So as I’m getting older, I’m determined to see just how much I can do with good skincare instead.

And honestly… medicube has already transformed my skin SO quickly!

The redness has calmed down so much and the biggest difference for me has been the texture around my chin. It’s always been the area I’ve been most conscious of because of the visible pores and uneven texture, and it already looks and feels so much smoother😭✨

So now I’m creeping up towards 40 and apparently on a mission to see just how good I can get my skin looking without messing with my face 😂 I want smoother texture, less redness, smaller looking pores and that healthy, hydrated, plump glow.

Okay but how pretty is this chair from ?! 🤍✨

I’ve been looking for the perfect chair for my daughter’s desk and I think I’ve found it! I absolutely love the scalloped design and the little cushion is such a cute touch 🥹

It swivels, the height is adjustable and, most importantly, it’s actually really comfy too!

I’m slightly jealous and now wondering if I need one for myself 😂🤍

Yesterday we drove up to North Wales for a long overdue catch up with my friends and my beautiful sister in law to be 🥰❤️

Even though I speak to my friends every single day, there’s nothing quite like actually getting together in person and watching all of our little ones have fun together too 🥹

We honestly did nothing but laugh all day 😂 The kids went on the rides, climbed what felt like the biggest pile of sand ever, and of course we had to stop for ice cream 🍦

Although one poor child didn’t get to enjoy his for very long before a seagull swooped down and STOLE it out of his hand 😭😂 He was absolutely hysterical while the rest of us couldn’t stop laughing 🤦‍♀️ ( couldn’t be helped ) definitely one of those moments we won’t be forgetting anytime soon! 😂🐦🍦

Days like this are just the best. Nothing fancy, just all of us together, the kids having fun and plenty of laughs ❤️

Hopefully it won’t be too long before we can do it all again, and next time hopefully our friend who lives in Ireland can make it over too! 🥰

We’re already looking at SC2 Rhyl for our next meet up because I think the kids would LOVE it! 👀💦

Until next time, North Wales ❤️

🧱🦁 Can you find all of the Wild Bricks at Dudley Zoo? 🐯🦓

We had such a lovely day exploring Dudley Zoo & Castle and taking on their Wild Bricks trail! There are life sized endangered animals made from thousands of toy bricks hidden around the zoo, and of course the kids were determined to find every single one 😂🧱

The Wild Bricks event is running until 31st August, so there’s still time to visit before the summer holidays are over! ☀️

Pick up a trail sheet while you’re there and tick off the sculptures as you find them. Once the kids complete the trail, they can collect a FREE Wild Bricks wristband and sticker too! 🎁

And once you’ve finished hunting for bricks, you’ve got the whole zoo to explore with around 140 different animal species 🦁🐒🐧

I think I’m holding onto days like this a little tighter at the moment 🥹❤️

Next month my girl starts high school, and if I’m completely honest, I’m just not ready for it.

She’s seen me get quite emotional about it lately. At the end of her primary school assembly I was an absolute mess, and it wasn’t just that day either… it took me a good few days to pull myself together 😂😭

While we were at Mother Shipton’s Cave, watching her get excited over all the Wizard of Oz displays and just genuinely enjoying herself, I actually asked her, “Do you really still enjoy days out like this, or are you just pretending because you know I love doing them with you?” 🥺

Thankfully, she told me she really did love it. ❤️

And I think that’s what made this day feel a little bit more special to me.

I know starting high school is exciting. I know it’s the next chapter and she’s going to grow, change, make new friends and become more independent. And I’m so excited to watch her become the person she’s going to be.

But there’s a little part of me that wishes I could keep her exactly as she is right now.

Still wanting days out with her mum and brothers. Still getting excited by things like this. Still laughing at silly things, exploring new places and just being… little. 🥹

I know I can’t stop her growing up, and I wouldn’t want to. But I’m really going to miss this innocent version of her.

So for now, I’m going to keep planning the days out, taking far too many photos and making as many memories as I possibly can ❤️

Because somehow the little girl who feels like she only started primary school yesterday is about to walk through the doors of high school 😭❤️

Please tell me I’m not the only mum who struggles with them growing up 🥺

A little detour on the way home that was 100% worth it 🖤🍦🌿

We couldn’t leave Yorkshire without squeezing in a visit to Mother Shipton’s Cave! I’ve seen this place so many times online and have wanted to visit for ages, so when we realised Knaresborough wasn’t too much of a detour, we had to go 😂

The whole place feels like such a hidden little gem. There’s loads to see as you wander through, and we were lucky enough to catch the Wizard of Oz event while we were there too 🌈✨

The Petrifying Well was fascinating to see in real life, especially seeing all the objects that have slowly turned to stone over the years! 🤯

But I’m not going to lie… I’d also been VERY excited about one particular thing before we even arrived…

The black ice cream 😂🖤🍦 And yes, it was absolutely worth the stop!

Definitely add this one to your Yorkshire days out list! 🌿

York, you’ve been amazing! 🥹❤️

What a few days we’ve had exploring this beautiful city.

From wandering the prettiest little streets and discovering quirky shops and bookshops 📚 to attractions, ghost buses, Vikings and plenty of unexpected finds along the way 😂

There is SO much to see here and I honestly feel like we could come back again and still find loads we missed.

Definitely one of my favourite UK city breaks we’ve done so far 🥰

Until next time, York ❤️📍

Some of the best moments cost absolutely nothing 🥹💗

Last night we wandered over to Rowntree Park, which was right behind where we were staying in York, and the kids had the BEST time.

No tickets. No expensive attraction. Just swings, climbing, running around, watching the birds and three very happy kids 🥰

We’ve packed so much into our few days in York, but sometimes it’s these completely unplanned little moments that end up being some of my favourites. No cost on happiness ❤️

Afterwards we wandered up BishyRoad and found a lovely little Italian for dinner 🇮🇹🍝 Trinacria York The perfect end to the evening.

Definitely going to miss our little York adventures 🥹

Sometimes going the wrong way works out for the best 😂✨

We completely stumbled across The Puzzling World of Professor Kettlestring yesterday after going the wrong way, and I’m SO glad we did because we absolutely love things like this! 🤯

It’s full of optical illusions, weird and wonderful rooms, puzzles and loads of interactive things to try. The kids had so much fun figuring everything out… and obviously we had to get plenty of ridiculous photos along the way 😂📸

It wasn’t even on our York itinerary, but ended up being such a fun unexpected find! Sometimes the places you don’t plan to visit end up being some of the best ❤️

👻🚌 A SPOOKY NIGHT AROUND YORK… WITH A LOT OF LAUGHS! 😂

*Pr Visit | We got to experience in York last night and we had such a fab time! 👻🖤

The tour takes place aboard a classic vintage Routemaster bus and lasts around 75 minutes, taking you around the streets of York while you hear some of the darker, spookier and more gruesome stories from the city’s past 🏰💀

I wasn’t quite sure what the kids would make of it beforehand, but they absolutely LOVED it! 😂 The actor/conductor was fantastic from the moment we got on. He was so funny, full of character and really interactive with everyone on board. What I loved most was how brilliant he was with the children, he made them feel so welcome, involved them throughout and constantly had them laughing ❤️

It’s definitely not your usual sightseeing tour! As you travel around York you pass some of the city’s famous sights, including York Minster, The Shambles and Clifford’s Tower, while hearing ghost stories and tales about York’s darker history 👻🏰 There are plenty of laughs mixed in too, so although it has a spooky theme, we found it really fun rather than frightening for the kids.

The vintage bus itself makes the experience even better. 🚌 It really suits the atmosphere of York and makes the whole thing feel completely different from a normal city tour.

We went during the summer when it was still quite light outside, but we enjoyed it so much that I’d genuinely love to come back and experience it again when it’s completely dark 🌙👻 I can imagine travelling through York at night would make the stories and whole atmosphere feel even spookier!

If you’re visiting York and fancy doing something a little different, especially if your family loves spooky stories and a good laugh, this is definitely worth adding to your plans 🖤
