We are pleased to announce that submissions for the new edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards are now open!
We warmly invite you to take part once again and submit your best work. The next ceremony will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland, in April 2026.
As part of this new chapter, we are also recognising your achievement from the 7th edition with the attached certificate. Your work truly stood out, and it was an honour to have you among the participants.
To give you a sense of the journe ::
We received 2065 submissions from 136 countries in 35 different languages.
More than 18,000 votes were cast for the first cut. Only 32 per cent of submissions qualified for the longlist phase.
Just 14 per cent progressed to the shortlist,
following an in-person meeting of the Executive Committee.
Only 105 submissions reached the World's Top 10, following an in-person meeting
of the Jury.
The Continental Rankings — established to recognise achievements on a regional level — have grown in significance each year, and certificates have therefore been included in this edition.
The 30 Special Mentions announced during the ceremony were reserved for works whose values align with the cornerstone values of AIPS.
