£49 million spent - and Worthing’s new Integrated Care Centre still has no opening date.

Almost two years after it was declared practically complete, problems with the water system remain unresolved.

The latest council report also reveals the project’s break-even point has slipped from 26 years to 35 years of full operation.

What a fantastic day taking part in the Worthing Carnival procession, and our thanks to Compass Travel for supporting our first public appearance and providing us with a bus (which came in very handy during the downpour!)

It was great to meet so many of you, hear your thoughts about Radio Worthing, and welcome lots of new followers who discovered us for the first time today.

We’re Radio Worthing, a new community radio station for Worthing and the surrounding area, and all being well we’re hoping to launch in late autumn. We’re a Community Interest Company, which means we exist to serve our community, not shareholders.

This video is mostly of us because we’re still introducing ourselves. But once we’re on air, the content we want to make is much more about you.
