🎥 Part 2 of the video I produced and edited for my brother's Cook On Cars channel is now live.

When Matt phoned me late one evening to say he’d won a car, I genuinely thought I might be filming a Ferrari…
Sadly, that wasn't anywhere close to the car he had won. 😅

For this video, I handled everything:
✏️ Planning the story beats and working out what moments we needed as the chaos unfolded
🎬 Directing the shoot and capturing real reactions, nerves and excitement
🪄 Shaping the narrative in the edit so the whole thing actually flows
⚡ Crafting a YouTube-style vlog with personality, music and pace

Check out Part 1 of a video I made with my brother, Matt.

It’s a bit of a change in style from my usual videos - I wanted to try a YouTube-style vlog and put my own spin on it. Long-form vlogs are huge right now, and I had a feeling this format would work really well with the adventure we were about to go on.

Matt’s been running his channel Cook On Cars for a few years, but he’s never done anything quite like this before. That’s where I came in - steering him through the process, shaping the story by filming and producing, and making sure all the elements came together in the edit.

Delighted to share this short promo I created for Adur Outdoor Activities Centre (AOAC) 🎥

After visiting the centre and speaking with Lizzie & Simon (the new owners), it was clear there was an opportunity to reintroduce AOAC to the community with a fresh piece of social content. I suggested we create a short video that showcased the range of facilities and the energy of the site - something simple, short, shareable and welcoming for both new and returning visitors.

This is exactly the type of strategic content I love helping local organisations with - not just filming, but identifying what story needs to be told and how best to tell it so it makes an impact.
