So that's the end of our Irish adventure, I hope you enjoyed this bit of insight into my family history ☘️🥲

Here's a photo of me and my Dad with my Nan ☺️ 86 years ago, she arrived in Wrexham as part of the WWII evacuation operation...and we're still here now 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

FINAL SPOONS 😳 The Silver Penny, Dublin City Centre.

Despite our best efforts we arrived at rush hour on Saturday night...not ideal. But with some patience, we did eventually get the job done!

This is the final photo from the whole series...and it's me and my Dad outside the house my Grandad was born in - good material for the Irish citizenship application 😂 Just don't tell Tim Martin.

1901 CENSUS RECORD 🇮🇪

Okay first of all, Keavan's Port is legit stunning. Massive spoons hotel converted from a church and lots of other things...like you can actually have a pint in a confession booth.

Buuuuut in terms of the image we put up - it's a census record from 1901 showing the current head of the Corcoran family 😁

Spoons #7 in Dublin and we are putting an 1839 Irish map on the wall 🫟

This is the map of the area my family lived in in the mid 1800s. Now it's something charming for the Dublin tech bros to stare at while they wait politely for the toilet after a half a beamish and discussion about current rental prices of galss-fronted penthouses in the area.

Pretty darn close to the airport (thanks to our hire car) we were able to rapidly get in and out of this one, faster than a flight back to Liverpool...

THE GREAT WOOD, BLANCHARDSTOWN 🪵

Wetherspoons #5 in Ireland and this was a toughie...

You'll see that in the video soon, but for now - some context!

This is our largest frame of the entire project - featuring 3 photos of Borris (where my Grandad was born). These were taken by my Uncle on a trip in the 80s. They're the first piece of documentation I have directly from someone that is still alive today 😁

Wetherspoons #4 in Ireland now features a beautiful portrait of my Great Grandparents!

I'm not entirely certain of the context and how they accessed a camera - but I'm very happy they did!
