We always enjoy the buzz of filming business events we get hired to capture, last week at UK Dairy Day at the Telford International Centre was no different.

Cultura Connect tasked Aaron O'Carroll and Richard Knew with filming a highlights of their day and more importantly recording testimonial interviews with some of their clients.

Knew Productions have a number of valued agriculture sector clients, so it was great to catch up with a few of our contacts too.

Tournage en France! 🎥 🇫🇷

Earlier this week Richard Knew & Joby Newson hopped over the channel for a 36 hour filming trip in Northern France.

Knew Productions last filmed Flintshire based Wagtail UK Limited over decade ago, so it was fantastic to get the call from them again to produce their new promotional video.

This time we're filming at their sites in the UK and France to showcase a variety of dog detection services and the fantastic enrichment and welfare facilities they afford their 4 legged team members.

Last week Knew Productions worked with Canal & River Trust to film a workshop for schoolchildren at Trevor Basin all about Welsh heritage and identity.

The day was full of hands-on experiences – from building a LEGO replica of Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, to exploring the meanings behind local place names.

We filmed the activities, captured interviews with the team, and got some drone footage of the aqueduct itself. 🎥

Last week Richard Knew and Aaron O'Carroll spent two days at the Media Production and Technology Show at Olympia London.

It was great to network with fellow industry professionals, sit in on some insightful keynote talks, discover the latest products and explore how they might benefit our clients.

Camera gear aside, unsurprisingly there was a big focus on AI and its impact on video. At Knew Productions, we’re already using AI in parts of our workflow, and we can see even greater integration ahead — helping to streamline and elevate certain processes.

A few moths ago, Aaron posted on LinkedIn about the emergence of roles such as ‘AI Producer’ and ‘AI Director’, and it seems this trend is picking up pace. However, one thing is clear, AI is just another tool in the toolkit, not a replacement for human creativity.

The control – and the craft – will always stay in our hands.

Margaret and Richard welcomed West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce CEO Sarah Bailey to our studio in Rossett earlier this week.

The visit was arranged on the back of our recent success winning the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce Business Growth Award. The meeting also coincided with us being Chamber members for ten years too.

Discussions included the creative industries sector in our region, the variety of Chamber events coming up, our contributions to the Welcome to Wrexham TV series, and future plans for Wrexham's longest established video production company.

On the 2nd April Joby Newson, Aaron O'Carroll and Richard Knew were at Wembley Stadium connected by EE, filming The Survey Association (TSA)'s AGM with Zebra Marketing and Communications. But being TSA this was no ordinary AGM, there was the stadium tour and Robot Wars too, here’s the 60 second recap

We welcomed BBC TV presenter Lloyd to our studio at Rossett Business Village yesterday.

Sian hosted the recent West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce Recognition Awards at Chester Racecourse where we just won the Business Growth Award.

With Sian’s fantastic BBC career in broadcasting and Richard Knew's background in television directing for BBC and ITV Wales, we felt it would be good to meet to see where we could perhaps collaborate in the future. Sian could present or provide voice overs for our corporate videos and we could provide broadcast quality film crews for her Media Training programmes and other projects.

It was a delight to meet Sian and for Margaret to show her our studio set up. We look forward to working together!

The Knew Productions team enjoyed a fabulous night on Friday at the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce Recognition Awards - and were delighted to win the E2E Integration sponsored award for Business Growth!

We celebrated the occasion at Chester Racecourse with some of our long-standing creative crew members and friends who have been integral to our journey. Seeing the award now sitting pride of place in our studio at Rossett Business Village is a good reminder of how far we’ve come over the years.

Here’s to continued growth, creativity and collaboration! Thank you to everyone who has been part of our story so far and for the trust and valued business from our amazing clients.

Good to work with Rugby World Cup winning coach Sir Clive Woodward at the TSA Conference last Friday and hear all about his concepts of and .
Knew Productions were at the British Motor Museum near Brum filming the event for a highlights video.

Well done to The Survey Association (TSA) and Zebra Marketing and Communications for creating another quality event and we recorded some great testimony from delegates during the day to back this up.
