Join Cara for a series of songwriting workshops from 26th-28th August!

These sessions are perfect for both beginner and experienced musicians and performers. You will learn how to write lyrics, put together musical accompaniment and there is an additional option of recording your song in our professional music studio.

⭐️Meet the team⭐️

Elin is the Lead Tutor at Wrexham Sounds and has been part of the team since 2022.

She teaches the piano and the drums here at the studio, works with the Wellbeing patients at Nightingale House Hospice, delivers on the WCBC Enrichment Programme and facilitates the courses and workshops delivered in the local community.

Elin has a passion for live music and has been playing drums around the North Wales area for over 10 years.

SOUND EXPLORERS 🎶

We have a couple of spaces remaining for Sound Explorers, this Wednesday at 10am!

Sound Explorers is an interactive music session for Toddlers aged 2-3. Parents and guardians are welcome to come along and join in the fun, where together we will make music, play instruments, sing and dance!

⭐️Meet the Team⭐️

Matt has been teaching guitar and rock/pop keyboard at Wrexham Sounds since 2022!

Matt has over 30 years experience in performing and has been teaching guitar for 18 years.

He is a the singer and guitarist of local band The Big Beat and has played with some notable artists such as Eric Clapton and Jools Holland.

Matt teaches guitar at Wrexham Sounds every Tuesday and has some limited availability over the summer.

⭐️STUDENT SPOTLIGHT⭐️

This is Henri 👋

Henri recently took up drum lessons at Wrexham Sounds through our partnership with Credu WCD Young Carers.

He has a real passion for classic music. He is mad about The Beatles and loves Ringo Starr! Henri has learnt a number of Beatles songs and his personal favourite to play is ‘In My Life’.

We asked Henri what his drum lessons mean to him and he said coming to Wrexham Sounds is “indescribable” and it’s his favourite time of the week. It’s been great to watch his confidence and ability grow! Keep it up, Henri!

There is daytime availability for both Music for Wellbeing and Music Lessons!

⭐️MUSIC PRODUCTION⭐️

At Wrexham Sounds we offer 1-2-1 tuition in music production with George!

George has been part of the Wrexham Sounds team for a number of years and has a passion for mixing, recording and composing.

During music production sessions you can learn how to mic up and record instruments, mix tracks and compose your own digital music using Logic Pro.

George also welcomes anyone who would like to record their own music in our music studio, whether that’s a solo artist or a band.

Say hello to Tamzin! 👋

Tamzin has singing lessons every Monday here at Wrexham Sounds with Khrystyna!

She brings such energy, enthusiasm, and talent to each session — especially when she's singing her favorite artists like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.

Since Tamzin began working with Khrystyna, she has made incredible progress. Her vocal ability continues to grow, and she’s already learned and performed several new songs with confidence and heart.

It’s been such a joy to watch her take big steps forward. Well done, Tamzin — keep shining and singing your heart out! 🌟🎶

⭐️Learn Through Play⭐️

Wrexham Sounds has recently launched a brand new service for children under the age of 6! If your little one has shown an interest in music, Learn Through Play provides the perfect stepping stone to get them started.

Learn Through Play is a 1-2-1 hands on session, where children can try a range of musical instruments and explore music and sound in a fun and playful way.

These sessions take place every Wednesday at our studio and can be booked online via the website.
