Wrexham is positioned perfectly, and we want to showcase everything this place has to offer. Everything we do as a production company, we want Wrexham to be part of it. 🎬❤️

We want to show that Wrexham is more than just football. It’s full of talent, creativity, and community. It’s about bringing everyone back — the people who grew up here, the people who had to leave because the opportunities weren’t here yet. Now they are. And they’re coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This is only the start of many more things to come!

Wrexham has a point to prove. This city is a TV and Film Production hub, and we’re showing exactly why. 🎬✨

So many crew members were born here but had to leave because the opportunities weren’t available. We changed that. Seeing them come back, excited to work in their hometown again, says everything about what Wrexham is capable of. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Minera Studios is here to make sure those opportunities stay 🥳

Celebrating our culture in the heart of Wrexham ❤️💚

We’ve been filming part of our Wrecsam 29 City of Culture bid at the World Food Centre, a place that reflects the diversity and spirit of our city 🌍✨

Huge thank you to the amazing staff for welcoming us and being part of the shoot 🙌

And thank you to actor Mark Lewis Jones for spending time with the team and celebrating Wrexham’s rich, varied culture 🎬💛

We also filmed by the Miners Statue, honouring the communities who built this city ⛏️🖤

Massive thanks to Leon Bowen for capturing these moments 📸

❤️🎭 A massive thank you to the Stiwt Theatre for letting us use your beautiful space as part of the filming for the Wrecsam City of Culture 2029 bid.

It was extra special to welcome Mark Lewis Jones back to the stage where he first discovered his love for acting growing up — right here in Rhosllannerchrugog. This community gave birth to an incredible talent, and it felt powerful to bring Mark home to the place where it all began 🌟

Huge thanks as well to a couple of our amazing WAoSA youth students, who joined forces with the Stiwt’s own youth theatre group, Theatr yr Ifanc, to share the stage with Mark. A moment that connected Rhos’ past, present, and future in one frame 🙌✨

And what a treat to have the Rhos Male Voice Choir join us — their presence added something truly special to the day 🎶🔥

Finally, a big thank you to Leon Bowen Photo Film for capturing the magic 📸

Huge thank you to the Canal & RiverTrust for letting our crew film on this stunning aqueduct 🙌❤️ It was packed on the bank holiday, so our brilliant drone team — Chris Davis and Gavin Taylor from Eastwood Drones — took to the sky to capture the bridge in all its glory 🚁✨

Big thanks to actor Mark Lewis Jones for representing Wrexham so powerfully, and to Ivan Corlett for letting us use his canal boat on set — it added something truly special 🚤💚

And of course, thank you to Simon Jones and Leon Bowen for the beautiful photos from the day 📸
A huge shoutout as well to Chapel Tearooms, Trevor for keeping the team fuelled with fantastic catering ☕🍰

The sunshine couldn’t have been better ☀️🎥

Wrexham’s has never been short of history — including being home to the oldest football club in Wales, Wrexham AFC ❤️💚

A huge thank you to the club for welcoming our team to film for the Wrecsam 2029 City of Culture bid.

Wrexham may be known worldwide for its football, but we’re also passionate about putting our city on the map as a thriving film and TV hub 🎥✨

Massive thanks to actor Mark Lewis Jones for representing the community so powerfully, and to WAoSA student and rising star Aerona Shi for joining him on screen. Thank you as well to our brilliant supporting artists, who brought the spirit of Wrexham supporters to life, and to SA Oliver Stephenson for capturing our time on set with some truly stunning photos 📸
