More unwanted books picked up today.
These will be sorted through and at least 25% will be taken to the charity shop.

The rest will be made up into bundles and sold on at bargain prices just to cover our costs.

Yes you could try to sell your old DVDs.

Yes you could just donate them to a charity shop yourself.

But there are a number of reasons that people use the BOOK-it service:

1) Need extra space - Quickly!

2) Don't have the means to get things to the charity shop (lack of transport, mobility issues etc)

3) Selling them takes too long

4) Nobody wants DVDs anymore anyway!

So here is a large box of DVDs from one of our recent collections.
For our client, its a box of junk getting in their way.
To us, it's everything!

Remember that 25% of what we collect goes directly to charity shops!

So how does BOOK-it work?

If you need to de-clutter and you are clearing out your shed, garage, loft or spare room we can help.
Just bag or box up your items and contact us to BOOK-it (book a collection).

What do you accept?

We accept books, CDs, DVDs and games.

Who does this benefit?

This is win win for all involved. You free up some much needed space in your home and your used books, DVDs, CDs & games go to a new home.

At BOOK-it we sort through all collections. We donate 25% of what we collect to local charity shops. The remainder is refurbished and resold. This is how we continue to fund the free collection service.

If anything can't be donated or resold due to extensive damage then it is responsibly recycled.

This is an eco friendly and responsible way of donating your items to a variety of different charities from the comfort of your own home.
