And to kick things off, I’ll be doing a live cookie decorating demonstration next Thursday! 🍪💫

✨ Baked at 1am for the school fundraising… because clearly I knew about it weeks in advance 😉 (parents, you get me, right?).

Good thing I made two big sheet cakes – one is already safely packed in a box for school 🥰 … the other tray was left out to cool. And guess what? Apparently, kids don’t like it… because there’s almost nothing left to cool anymore! 😂

So what is this mysterious cake?
It’s called Bublanina – a traditional Czech bake. Think of it as a light, fluffy sponge cake that “bubbles up” around juicy fruit while baking (hence the name). This one is filled with sweet summer berries that sink into the sponge and create little fruity surprises in every bite. 💕🍓🫐

So if you’ve never tried Bublanina before – imagine the lovechild of a sponge cake and a fruit crumble, but much lighter and perfect with a coffee.
