If you’re like me, you probably use Ebay often to purchase car parts. It is indeed the number one online marketplace for parts and accessories. However, not having a free return option has kept some people from using Ebay.

If that’s you, then there is good news. The platform is rolling out a new free returns service for parts over £10, which should be in effect site-wide for eligible listings by July.

Have Ebay returns ever been an issue for you? ^JB

Happy birthday to the Honda Accord.

Sadly, UK production and sales were deleted a few years back but production and sales still continue in the US.

By the end of this month, US sales are expected to pass the 15,000,000 mark. It was also the first Japanese car to be assembled in America.

There's still a large number of Accords on the UK roads. Owners love them and at one point, brand loyalty was stronger than BMW and even Rolls Royce.

Accord - 50 years old this week.

Any car action?

For me, I cleaned the sold 2018 Skoda Rapid I bought from BCA. It was in really good condition anyway, but wanted to clean the interior (seats washed, etc) and go over the bodywork with a wax product.
While washing the exterior I found this potential rust trap at the end of the sill. I've seen older Rapid models with rust forming here at the bottom of the front wing – and this was full of mud. I kept the hose running for a couple of minutes to get it proper clean.

Good results can be achieved by the professionals, but have any of you had a go at removing dents from bodywork? Either using rods and lighting boards or glue tabs?

More and more Chinese vehicles are on the road every day, with OMODA and JAECOO being some on the most-registered vehicles in the UK at the moment.

It’s interesting to think about what will happen when they filter down to the used market. Will people buy them then? What about parts supply, specialist tools, and support for those who do their own maintenance and repair – will these things be available?

What do you think? ^JB

A chap I know has just told me he's paid over £400 for a set of spark plugs for his RS6... Yoinks!

Remember when an N9YC fitted almost everything and were about 99p a cylinder? Yep... Them were the days.
