Summer in Bloom is our newest pattern by the talented Lynne Goldsworthy (). "I wanted to create these large daisy types of flowers with a double layer of petals and thought the most obvious way to do that would be to English paper piece or foundation paper piece them. It then occurred to me that, if I adapted the traditional Dresden Plate template, I could create these Dresden leaves with much sharper points than normal. So, this is a Dresden project even though it doesn’t look like it on first glance!"
