We’re open today 10-13:30 🙌🫡🫶

After a late-night rummage around the unit, we found that so many exciting treasures have found their way to new homes yesterday! This means we had loads of gaps to fill, and I’m thrilled to let you know that the new stock is now lifted into place.

Why not take a minute (or ten) to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the barn? You’ll find everything from 16th-century wonders to 20th-century gems, plus vintage and retro pieces from the fabulous 60s and 70s, all the way back to medieval instruments and stunning wooden items from the early 17th century.

We’re open this morning from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Be sure to pop by and explore all the new additions—we can’t wait to see you! 🎉✨

This is a 19th-century print of York by J.B. Allen alongside a early print of Richmond by H Warren (has seen better days)

The print depicts the city of York, England, likely from the 19th century. York is a historic city in North Yorkshire, England, known for its rich history and well-preserved architecture, including York Minster, which is visible in the print.

Prints of cityscapes like this were popular during the 19th century as they provided a visual record of urban development and architectural landmarks. J.B. Allen, the artist, specialised in topographical prints. These prints were often sold as souvenirs or collected by those interested in history and art. The black and gold frame appears to be of the period, which adds to the overall value.

Renaissance Revival furniture emerged in the mid-19th century, drawing inspiration from the elaborate designs of the 15th and 16th-century Renaissance period.

This style is characterized by its intricate carvings, use of dark woods like oak and walnut!!

Flemish chairs, originating from the Flanders region (present-day Belgium), share similar characteristics with Renaissance Revival pieces, emphasizing detailed craftsmanship and robust construction.

This 👇 is a beautiful example of some of the earlier Belgian 🇧🇪 craftsmanship.

We’re open this morning from 9 AM until 1:30 PM! Many of you mentioned not getting a chance to come down yesterday, and we want to make sure you don't miss out.

With the Ryder Cup not starting until midday, it’s a great time to explore without worrying about missing any sport. It may not be sunny and the rain doesn’t seem to be letting up, but we can promise you a treasure trove of unique items to browse through!

We've fully restocked our diverse collection, featuring everything from medieval 🏰 and 16th-century relics to modern retro bits from the 60s and 70s. There’s something for everyone, whether you're looking to furnish your home big or small!

So, grab your umbrella and come down to see us this morning! You can find us easily by typing “SMP Clearance & Storage” into Google Maps, and keep an eye out for our name change to “Ryedale Emporium” in the coming days.
