'These poems celebrate St Nicks Nature Reserve and Environment Centre and much imagery is drawn from Ecotherapy sessions over the course of several years. Many of the poems testify to the power of nature to lift our spirits and grant us inner peace and all of them involve observation of wildlife.
Some poems are composed in traditional poetic forms, others are written in ways that are more organic (like the wildlife that inspired them). Proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to St Nicks to help it in its valuable work of improving mental health and wellbeing, as well as conservation and environmental awareness, and to which I am most grateful for the calm, joy and pleasure it has given me.'

Honoured to represent St. Vincent de Paul charity today at the Bishop’s Study Day for all the Middlesbrough Diocese! Working with Sarah Barber advertising Mini-Vinnies, Youth SVP and of course selling my book ‘Thank God for Mass!’ raising funds for SVP England & Wales. Great to meet up with so many lovely staff and clergy!

A great day with LFC Foundation celebrating with primary schools thinking about writing stories through our 5 senses! We finished off each session with ‘Oliver Owl is a Silly Billy’ perfect for reminding everyone that there’s no such thing as a silly question-ask the question and listen to the answer! If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!

What a great we had on Friday at LFC Foundation The schools were allowed to visit the Kop for the first time since before Covid so when they were told there was huge excitement (from me too!). So I read ‘Samantha & Samuel Seagull love Fair Play!’ and we looked for Samantha & Samuel when we went into the Stadium! Great discussions about stories, We all had a fantastic day!! I hope they are going to continue to
