After the success of last years production, A Nativity For York will be touring York and the surrounding area once again!

Using the framing device of a convent setting, this version of the Nativity will be full of music and candlelight.

This year they will make an appearance at St Hilda's Church, St Mary's Bishophill Junior, St Mary's Church and All Saints North Street.

Santa's Christmas Tour at York's Chocolate Story!

Join the elves on a magical festive guided tour taking you through the secrets of chocolate making, with plenty of different samples along the way! Santa himself will even be joining you part-way through the tour to share the magic with you!

We had the pleasure of watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre last night and wow, what a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived to the final bow, it was an evening packed with charm, fun and plenty of heart.

The performance itself was a real treat. From the opening scene to the final bow, we were completely swept up in it. The young actor playing Charlie delivered a heartfelt and confident performance, and W***y Wonka was an absolute standout!

Yesterday we went to Fairfax House’s Christmas Mousequerade … the whole house has been transformed into the cosiest festive escape. Every room feels warm, intimate and completely wrapped in Georgian Christmas charm.

And the stars of the show? The mischievous little mice hiding in every corner! 🐭🎄
They’re up to all sorts of antics this year — peek inside fireplaces, mantelpieces and banisters and you’ll spot them getting into festive mischief.

The attention to detail is unbelievable. From the stunning decorations to the perfectly recreated period scenes, there’s so much to look at. Every tiny touch gives you a glimpse into how the house would have looked in its Georgian heyday.
