We are now at Camperpark,Vijfhuizen which is a 25 minute cycle ride to Harlaam.
Interesting and chilled city with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. We visited the Stadhuis (Town Hall) Grote Markt, Gravenstenenburg lift bridge which crosses the river Spaarne. The church Grote Kerk and the Teylers Museum which was opened in 1784 and is the oldest Museum in the Netherlands. There is also a statue of Laurens Coster invented printing.

Have spent a lovely day with Ian and Antonia in Utrecht, travelling into the city by train. We visited the Dom Tower, Dom Cathedral and the Verzetsmonument, a 10-meter tall landmark, located on the DomPlein (lady with the torch).
After a delicious lunch, we had a relaxing river boat tour and a drink by the canal.

Now at the Camperplaats de Kersenpit with Alpacas, goats, hens, pigs, turkeys and a huge rabbit! 😁

Another cycle ride from Hofstede Kloosterstein Camperplaats into Gouda, only 15 mins by bike.
Never seen so much cheese to try and of course, to sample the Syrup waffles before visiting the Sint Janskerk Church and enjoying the beautiful sunny afternoon to relax and chill! 🌞

We had to buy some mixed cheeses and date cake from the oldest cheese shop in Gouda.🧀

We're in the small town Haastrecht and staying at the Camperplaatz called Hofstede Kloosterstein which is a short walk to the bakery, restaurants, Supermarket and Butcher. There was a classic car meet with live music and beers!
Plenty of chickens, goats and horses to keep us entertained..😁

Another beautiful but windy day to go for a cycle to "The Hague" - We visited the viewing tower, Binnenhof (comprises of Parliament and Government buildings) Noordeinde Palace and the William of Orange statue.
Lots of Shops, Restaurants and people with bikes!

Second cycle ride was to Delft which was only 20 mins from the campsite.
What an interesting and vibrant place. Lots of restaurants and shops including Delft pottery and cheeses..The Oude Delft is lined with canalside Houses in Renaissance style with the Oude Kerk and Stadhuis Town Hall.

We are having a fabulous time in The Netherlands. We stayed in a family run campsite called Het Konneveld which had chickens roaming, sheep bleating and cows munching, lovely and relaxing.

First cycle ride was to Maassluis which was a very pretty town 5 miles away.
