Upfaders Upfaders is a ground-breaking youth music project helping young people in York to learn DJ and produ NEW DJ workshops!! Upfaders is funded by Youth Music.

Learn to mix tunes with experienced DJs - beginners welcome - use the latest Pioneer CD decks - friendly and fun session at Door84 youthclub! Informal DJ sessions where you can learn to mix tunes and become a DJ. The sessions take place in Door84 youth club so you can also have a game of pool, play football and buy drinks etc :)
If you want you can bring your own tunes on a USB stick (MP3 - no swe

aring please). Age: 13-18

Times of DJ workshops:
Mon: 17:30 - 19:30
Wed: 18:30 - 20:30
Thu: 16:30 - 17:30 (Girls only)


We also provide music production workshops for closed groups.

Hey peeps I’m working with a really sound young lass (can’t go into detail but a very worthy cause and pretty talented!) and trying to get her set up to produce at home, I’ve given her some spare bits of gear I have but if anyone has an electric bass or lead sat around, it would be going to a good home….also looking for any old guitar multi-effects….cheers!
