💡 A bit of perspective on pricing...
The stand you see here is one of several I keep in my lockup. Out of all of them, this is the most basic, the cheapest, and the least impressive piece of kit I own.
And yet — just this stand, with no decks, no speakers, no lights, no music — costs more than what some people expect to pay for an entire 5-hour disco on one of the biggest days of their lives.
And that’s where the problem lies.
Cheap DJs often cut corners, cancel last minute, or disappear altogether — leaving couples and families heartbroken on nights they can’t just “reschedule.”
I’m always happy to help when I can. Just this month I drove a 250-mile round trip to save a couple’s wedding after they were let down last minute by a conman DJ. Sadly, I’m seeing this more and more across social media.
Your guy may have promised to do it for £X cheaper, but if he didn’t turn up, it wasn’t a bargain at all.
The truth is, reputable DJs (myself included) show up no matter what — flu, injuries, or long days behind us — because your event is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and it deserves commitment.
💲 Don’t shop for the cheapest price. Shop for reliability, professionalism, and peace of mind.
📖 Do your research. Have meetings, speak on the phone, check reviews, and only pay a deposit when you’re 100% certain.
🎧 Don’t get let down by a bargain DJ. (Or better yet, just book me 🤣)
At the end of the day, if something sounds too good to be true, it isn’t “probably” — it is.
Your music is the heartbeat of your night. Invest wisely, and it will pay you back in memories that last forever. 🎶✨
