Updated Alert: Updated Dates for Temporary Change in Consular Operations - U.S. Embassy, Barbados (June 16 – July 11, 2025)

Location: Barbados
Appointments for visas, passports, consular reports of birth abroad, and other routine services will not be available from June 16 – July 11, due to scheduled maintenance in the Consular Section. The Consular Section will resume regular appointments starting Monday, July 14.

Emergency services for U.S. citizens, including emergency passport applications, will remain available.

Consular agencies in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, and Fort-de-France, Martinique will operate normally and accept appointments.

Visa applicants who qualify for the Interview Waiver Program can still mail in their applications during the closure, please refer to the Embassy website to determine if you qualify for Interview Waiver.

Took a few minutes today to reason with Carriacou's "Ambassador" Super Flying Flint to join the efforts to stage We Will Rise motorcades for the lovely people of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Give me a line as to how you think he responded? One person mentioned that he said "Beryl could fly but I can flew of course we are going to Carriacou" 😄
