Rooted in the gritty pulse of late '80s and early '90s industrial and techno, KILO has been immersed in electronic music for nearly three decades. Emerging from the industrial techno underground, he transitioned into Trance and Progressive House in the mid-'90s, evolving over the years through Tech-Trance, Techno, Hard House, Tech-House, Progressive, Tribal, Electro-House, Progressive Breaks

, and more. With over 20 years of experience behind the decks, KILO has brought his sound to clubs, festivals, and underground events across the Southeast. Originally from Atlanta, he now channels that distinctive ATL energy to the Gulf Coast scene. KILO’s sets are a seamless fusion of genres, defined by syncopated rhythms, deep grooves, and precision mixing. In the pantheon of electronic music, certain releases transcend their medium to become cultural touchstones that define entire movements. Sasha and John Digweed’s Northern Exposure, released on 27th September 1996, is one such artefact.

More than just a mix compilation, it became the blueprint for progressive house, transformed the art of DJ mixing, and catapulted two young Brits from provincial club residents to global superstars. Twenty-seven years on, it remains as vital and forward-thinking as the day it dropped.
