The global ballroom and Latin-American dance elite is descending upon Tbilisi this autumn as the Open World Pro-Am Dance Festival and the prestigious Lizi Mor Dance Queen Trophy take center stage at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace. On October 18 the spectacular Gala Dinner will showcase the finest local and international couples competing for the coveted Georgian Dance Queen Trophy.
The festival features an unmatched lineup of the world’s most celebrated icons of dance, including multi-time world champions Victor Da Silva, Ekaterina Krysanova, Eldar Dzhafarov, and Anna Sazhina.
The event’s competitive integrity will be upheld by a world-class panel of remarkable international adjudicators, including industry icons Jerry Abrate and Dirk Bastert. Joining this esteemed panel is special guest judge Joanna Leunis, globally revered as the "Queen of Latin Dance," who will also lead exclusive training sessions at the event's professional Mastercamp.

Vernissage of the young artist Lizi Budaghashvili

The French Ambassador to Georgia H.E. Olivier Courteaud and Mrs. Domenique Courteaud were delighted to host a vernissage of works by artist Lizi Budaghashvili at the French Residence on October 8.
Themes of memory, belonging, and one's relationship with place run through the work of this talented young artist. In her colorful and emotionally charged canvases, Lizi speaks to us in the language of everyday life—a language accessible to all. She vividly conveys art’s unique ability to foster a dialogue between individual experience and universal questions.
The Embassy is pleased to help promote this Georgian artist’s work and artistic vision, fostering greater recognition among Tbilisi’s art circles, cultural figures, and friends of France who gathered this evening for an occasion of discovery and exchange.
