🔘The UN Human Rights Council adopted a resolution on Georgia’s occupied territories titled “Cooperation with Georgia” during its session in Geneva on October 8, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

🔘According to the Georgian MFA, the resolution—introduced by Georgia since 2017—was adopted for the first time by consensus, which the ministry described as “unprecedented support for Georgia.”

🔘Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia presented the resolution at the session. It reaffirms support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

🔘The court ordered pretrial detention as a preventive measure for Tornike Mchedlishvili, Abo Naveriani, Eva Shashviashvili, and Davit Sturua, who were arrested during the October 4 rally.
