Soundblasting Recs. is back with a new compilation by Amoux, a DJ, event organizer, and ambassador for the label in India. More than just a collection of music, it’s a true tribute to the psychedelic movement. Here’s the synopsis of this new volume:

Born from the fire of the 60s counterculture in the United States and Europe — when psychedelics cracked reality open and sound became rebellion — this compilation channels that same untamed spirit into the frequencies of today.
What started with distorted guitars and mind-expanding experimentation evolved through decades of mutation, resistance, and underground movements. The energy never disappeared — it transformed. It rewired itself into machines, into circuits, into basslines. It became psytrance.
Now carried through forests, warehouses, deserts, and hidden dancefloors across the globe, psytrance stands as a living extension of the psychedelic movement — raw, uncompromising, and collective. This 15-track VA is not nostalgia. It’s continuation.
A tribute to the freaks, the night travelers, the boundary-pushers. To the ones who gather under sound systems to dissolve the ordinary and build temporary autonomous realities.

WILD MONKEY [ 🇲🇽 ] - Soundblasting Recs.

ENG : Edwin is originally from Mexico and is best known for his project Wild Monkey. He's a producer of groovy psytrance with infectious energy. Launched in 2023 at Ape Studio, this rising project crafts a soundscape that is both hypnotic and undeniably danceable.

Driven by a distinct rhythmic identity and a keen sense of groove, Wild Monkey crafts polished productions tailored for both the dance floor and mental escape. Currently evolving, the project also promises a vibrant live show! 🐵

FR : Edwin est originaire du Mexique, il est plus connu sous le nom de son projet Wild Monkey. Il est un producteur de psytrance groovy à l’énergie contagieuse. Lancé en 2023 au sein de l’Ape Studio, ce projet en pleine ascension façonne un univers sonore à la fois hypnotique et résolument dansant.
