I love walking around Gouliot Headland, where you can see the other Channel Islands, the cliffs, and the endless sea beyond.
There’s something so grounding about these quiet Sark moments. Calm skies and open views that make you pause.

On today’s walk, I tried to capture that hill…the one that always tires me out (it’s steeper than it looks, promise…🫣 maybe).
At the top, I met a lovely couple of hikers, I’ve spotted around Sark a few times. They’re here from November through to December, and return each year, staying a little longer, and falling more in love with the island every time. 🌿✨

They inspired me to keep moving, to savour every step… so off I went, with a little spring in my stride.
Life’s pretty good when you pause, breathe, and appreciate where you are. 💖

I don’t know why I love this path so much.
There’s no grand view at the end, no flowers, no bench to rest, almost always muddy and uneven, and pure quiet stillness… same path, but never the same scene.
Yet somehow, it always feels enough. 🌿✨

The weather may be unpredictable, but one thing’s for sure that here on Sark, every path leads to a view worth pausing ...

You can even spot the old Barracks on Little Sark, once miners’ cottages, now a timeless landmark above the sea. ✨
