We’ve been made aware of a number of scam websites being set up to replicate the official Island Games website. These websites look nearly identical, however when you go to watch any of the live streams you are asked for your credit card details.

The official site will not ask you for any payment to watch the streams. The scam sites are often being promoted through social media comments, so be sure to access it through proper means if you wish to watch anything online. The official URL is in the image below.

As we are the only official Sky appointed Engineers on Island, the Government has recognized that TV is going to play a crucial part to people’s mental health and well-being during the isolation period and therefore deemed us ‘key-workers’.

Good Afternoon,

I have had several calls into the office today informing me that people are receiving calls from the following number: 02037 698407.
They are claiming to be Sky and offering to upgrade you to the new Sky-Q.
This is not a legitimate phone call. It is a scam that is currently targeting the U.K & Channel Islands.

We advise not to answer. And more importantly, please do not give out any personal/banking information.
