Hey 👋 creators! I messed up early on, and learned the hard way how to stay monetized. Here's what I wish I knew:

- Clean Up: Before applying, remove copyright issues, clear strikes, and delete negativity. Platforms don't like that.

- Respectful: Be professional and avoid negativity. A happy audience = happy income!

- Be Factual: Stick to verified info. Platforms fight fake news and can punish you.

- Be Original: Don't just share others' stuff. Develop your own unique voice!

- Know the Rules: Understand platform policies on music, live streams, and images. Don't get caught off guard.

- Credit or Create: When using content, credit properly or use AI-generated images. Play it safe!

The goal is not just to get monetized but to stay monetized.

Before you apply for Monetization on any online platform, take out some time and review your account or page.

Ensure :
- You remove all copyrighted content
- Clear all pending strikes
- Delete controversial posts, especially those with hate comments etc

_Fast forward, do not insult your audience in the comments and be mindful of the words you use.
Words like fo.ol, idi.ot, ki.ll, sui.cide etc are censored and can get your monetization revoked

__Avoid fake news. Independent fact-checkers licensed by Meta detect fake news and you can get a strike from it and it can affect your monetization status.
__ Avoid sharing contents from other pages and walls, especially contents that are unoriginal.
__ Avoid involving in online dragging etc
__ Avoid going live with background music from radios or TV. They may be copyrighted
__ Avoid going live when Football is playing on your TV etc
__ When posting pictures, especially for those using the bonus feature, ensure you have the rights and if you don't, give appropriate credits.
It is even better to use AI generated images.
