*Dr. Bryan Acheampong: Celebrated for Transforming Agriculture with the Prestegious Order of the Volta Award*
Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Minister of Food and Agriculture and MP for Abetifi, received the Order of the Volta award from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on December 30, 2024, at the National Honors and Awards ceremony in Accra.
This award recognizes his strong leadership in improving Ghana’s agriculture. He helped tackle food security challenges and provided food grants to over 800,000 farmers in eight regions affected by drought.
Dr. Acheampong’s efforts have greatly contributed to Ghana’s development through agriculture.
