Nana Owiredu Wadie I : Kwahu-Nkwatia Nkosouhene, and founder of the Kabaka Foundation Ghana, distributed Christmas food packages to over 1,000 vulnerable individuals in Dome and nearby towns in Accra. The gesture, part of his annual initiative, included rice, cooking oil, sardines, chicken, tinned tomatoes, and sausages. Additionally, 500 children received snacks, drinks, and Christmas toys.

Speaking on behalf of Nana Wadie, Kabaka Foundation Executive Director Dr. Henry Larbi highlighted the initiative’s aim to support struggling families during the festive season and noted the growing need for such interventions due to widespread hardship.

Beyond the seasonal relief, the foundation is engaged in long-term projects in health, education, and economic empowerment, such as building a modern KG block at Asikesu, establishing a neonatal intensive care unit at Eastern Regional Hospital, and providing scholarships to needy university students. These efforts align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Nana Wadie and the Kabaka Foundation for their support.

Kwahu Abetifihemaa Nana Ama II Addresses Viral Video Misconceptions

In response to a viral video misrepresenting her role, Kwahu Abetifihemaa and Kwahu Adontenhema, Nana Ama Amanua II, has clarified recent speculations. Some traditional and social media posts mistakenly used her image to allege she had destooled Akyemfuor Asiedu Agyeman III, the Chief of Abetifi. Nana Ama Amanua II firmly stated that she is not associated with the woman in the video, who falsely claims to be Yaa Asantewaa and is not part of the royal family. She emphasized that she has no conflicts with Akyemfuor Asiedu Agyeman III, who continues to be the recognized Chief of Kwahu Abetifi and Kwahu Adontenhene, and currently serves as acting Kwahuhene.
