How come?!!!!!!

I went to China mall to get some items and after paying, they gave me change and there was four 20ps among the change.

Just now I went to buy chewing gum and found out that, some of the market women and some stores are no longer taking 20ps.

Due to this, it has affected the 10ps too.

So all the biscuits, toffees and chew gums that are supposed to be sold 20ps and 30ps are now sold at 50ps and GHC1.00

Should we stop buying things?

Who have started this?
Is it government? Or market women?
