FEBRUARY 2022 NATIONAL SERVICE ALLOWANCES PAID

1. In fulfillment of the assurance given by the Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) to pay the February 2022 outstanding allowances within the shortest possible time, we are pleased to inform all national service personnel that the allowances for the month of February 2022 have been duly paid as of Today Friday , April 8 2022.

2. All national service personnel can access their February 2022 allowances via E-zwich at their preferred banks across the country if their February 2022 assessment forms were duly endorsed and submitted to the various NSS District Offices.

3. Management sincerely appreciates the patience and cooperation of the service personnel during the delay.

4. Management of the Scheme remains committed to the welfare of service personnel and commends their dedication to duty in serving their nation.

Rest in peace, Psalm Adjeteyfio, a.k.a. 😭.

The veteran Ghanaian actor Psalm Adjeteyfio revealed a couple of weeks ago that he has been diagnosed with end-stage heart failure which has indirectly placed a limit to his lifespan.

He passed away this morning at his Ayikuma home.

Nigeria's first female combat helicopter pilot killed in a freak car accident Lagos, Nigeria (CNN) - Tributes have poured in after Nigeria's first female combat helicopter pilot was killed in a freak car accident Tuesday. Tolulope Arotile, 24, died of head injuries sustained after a former school friend accidentally reversed into her while she was trying to greet her, the country's air force said in a statement. President Muhammadu Buhari said he received the news with "deep pain" and sent condolences to her family and colleagues, his aide said in a statement. Buhari recalled he had witnessed Arotile skills in flying combat helicopters and saluted her contributions to the nation's battle against terrorism and armed banditry attacks. The Nigerian Air Force described Arotile's death as an "irreparable loss". The agency said it was in "deep sorrow" as the young pilot contributed significantly to combat operations against insecurity in northern states. Source:CNN
