"The Land Commissioner and the Estate Engineers in Kintampo had issued a 'Stop Work' order on a building constructed in a lane at Neoase, near Odiifo Sakyi Church. The building is an attached structure that has crossed the lane, encroaching on the church's land. The church had petitioned the Land Commission, the former MCE, and the Estate Engineers several times. In response, they took a bold decision to issue a stop-work order on the building. However, the woman cleared the stop-work notice and continued construction. The Land Commissioner himself visited the site with the Estate Engineers after their written notices, but the woman persisted in building in the lane and on the church's land. The Land Commissioner, together with the Estate Engineers, returned for a third time to write 'Demolish Now' on the building. Despite the clear warnings, including the 'Demolish Now' notices on the walls, the woman continues to work on the land, defying public orders."
