Ghana Boxing IMC Completes Second Phase of Medical Screening for Professional Boxers

The Ghana Boxing Interim Management Committee (IMC) has successfully completed the second phase of its medical screening exercise for professional boxers at the Lapaz Community Hospital.

The screening forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure the health, safety, and fitness of professional boxers across the country. Medical assessments are a crucial requirement in safeguarding athletes and maintaining high standards within the sport.

The entire exercise was fully sponsored by Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe, a presidential aspirant of the Ghana Boxing Authority. His support was widely appreciated by stakeholders, as it contributed significantly to the successful ex*****on of the program.

The Ghana Boxing IMC reiterated its commitment to promoting the welfare of boxers and ensuring that all athletes meet the necessary medical requirements before competing in professional bouts. The committee also expressed gratitude to all medical personnel and participants who contributed to the success of the screening exercise. #
