Former Black Stars captain André “Dede” Ayew has revealed that he knew and felt he was no longer wanted in the Ghana national team, claiming that some people did not want him on the team.

Speaking during an interview with former Nigeria international John Obi Mikel on The Obi One Podcast, Ayew opened up about his experience with the Black Stars and the circumstances surrounding his absence from the team.

Minority Leader of Parliament, Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, says he will take legal action against Sammy Gyamfi over what he describes as defamatory statements made against him.

Afenyo-Markin said he intends to seek the appropriate legal remedies at the Accra High Court.

The decision comes at the back of a recent exposé by Afenyo-Markin and a harsh response from Sammy Gyamfi, which the Minority Leader considers derogatory and defamatory.

Afenyo-Markin added that the matter will now be handled through the proper legal channels.

Dr. Kwaku Adonko Oteng has revealed that Kumasi businessman Stephen Boateng, popularly known as Kessben, was battling a stroke before his dæth.

Speaking on Angel TV’s morning programme, Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ, Dr Adonko Oteng said he regularly checked on Kessben after learning about his condition.

He said the news of Kessben’s illness was painful and affected him deeply even before his passing.

Kessben’s death was confirmed by the Kessben Group on Thursday, August 20, 2026. He was 68 years old.

Dr. Kwaku Oteng of Adonko fame did not give further details about when Kessben suffered the stroke, regardless!

Pollster Musah Dankwah has called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership to take its internal affairs seriously.

According to him, Chairman Wontumi should not be allowed to contest the party’s National Chairmanship position while in prison.

Musah Dankwah argued that Chairman Wontumi is not Nelson Mandela to be given special tolerance or treated differently because of his circumstances.

He urged the NPP leadership to focus on electing a chairman who can actively lead, represent and perform the duties of the position.
