Ghanaian musician KiDi has opened up about a childhood incident in which his father kicked him out of the family home when he was about five years old as punishment for his troublesome behaviour.

According to the musician, he was a very stubborn and notorious child, and his father’s decision came after a series of incidents caused by his behaviour.

“My dad kicked me out of the house when I was about 5 years old, and it was the straw of many things I had done. I was a very stubborn kid; I was notorious. When they bought me a shoe for school, I used the shoe to go and play stones, and by the time I got home, the shoe would get spoilt,” KiDi recounted.

He also revealed that he frequently returned from school with his uniform covered in dirt, making it appear as though he had been involved in a serious fight.

“All kids go to school and play and dirty their uniforms, but the dirt on my uniform, it’s as if I fought with lions,” he stated.

Apostle Oduro Reveals He Once Contemplated Su***de After Losing His Temple

Apostle Dr. Solomon Oduro has opened up about one of the darkest moments of his life, revealing that he once contemplated taking his own life after losing his temple and facing a subsequent court case.

The preacher made the emotional revelation in a video shared by Ghana Eye on August 30, 2026, recounting how the difficult experiences left him overwhelmed and questioning God and his circumstances.

According to Apostle Oduro, he reached a point where he found himself standing on the Nima Overhead, contemplating su***de.

“I wanted to kill myself. That’s when I was standing on Nima Overhead, trying to blame God and people,” he said.

He explained that the situation became particularly difficult because he felt he had done nothing to deserve the painful experiences he was going through.

“By then, I knew that I was not traumatising myself with so many things, so why should I go through all those things and want to kill myself?” he stated.

However, Apostle Oduro said that while standing on the overhead, he experienced what he described as a divine intervention.

He claimed that God whispered to him that his anointing would be doubled, giving him renewed hope at a moment when he felt completely defeated.

“On top of the overhead, God whispered into my ears that He would double my anointing. That’s why I named my first book ‘Double Man Anointing’,” he revealed.

Popular Ghanaian comedian and actor Akrobeto has backed comments by Prophet Kumchacha, who controversially described women who constantly demand money from their male partners as engaging in a form of prostitution.

According to Akrobeto, women who expect financial support from men they are dating should be open about their intentions from the beginning.

“If you want to go into prostitution, announce it so we are all aware and know what to expect. Don’t wait for a man to show interest in you and then start demanding money from him,” Akrobeto said.

Prophet Kofi Oduro has offered an unconventional perspective on intimacy in marriage, suggesting that resting a man’s head on his wife’s breast can bring a sense of peace and help him think through personal challenges.

According to the preacher, such moments of closeness can provide emotional relief and create an atmosphere that allows couples to address conflicts and find solutions to problems.

Speaking during a sermon at his church, Prophet Kofi Oduro said men who have experienced the comfort of such intimacy would understand what he meant.

“All the men who put their heads on a breast, there’s nothing like peace of mind than you putting your head on a breast. It makes your mind broad,” he stated.
