“I’ll Never Go Back to My Matrimonial Home; I’m Gone Forever. My Safety Is Very Important” — Bishop Obinim
Founder of the International God's Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has disclosed that he has permanently left his matrimonial home, insisting that he has no intention of returning because he considers his personal safety a top priority.
The controversial preacher has confirmed reports that he had moved out of his family home, saying the decision was final and would not be reversed.
“My children already said I’ve left home, and I confirm it’s true. I have left. I wouldn't go back, and not even my parents, whom I respect deeply, can ask me to return and expect me to obey. My life matters to me,” Bishop Obinim stated.
The outspoken pastor emphasized that his decision was made after careful consideration and stressed that preserving his life and well-being is more important than returning to his matrimonial home.
In recent days, the preacher has dominated headlines with comments about his funeral arrangements, initially stating that his wife, gospel musician Florence Obinim, and some family members should not be involved in organizing his funeral.
He later appeared to soften his position by expressing a desire for his wife to remain close to him even after death.
